Gulf of Gökova Route

Gulf of Gökova is also known as Gulf of Kerme. It is located between the Datça Peninsula and the Bodrum Peninsula in southwestern Turkey.

The largest island of this gulf is Karaada, but other major islands are Sedir Island, Incirli Island, Gelibolu Island and Orak Island. The Gulf of Gökova is the most indented region of the southeastern coast. For this reason, there are many unique bays. It is one of our rare clean and untouched regions where visitors traveling by boat are unwilling want to leave any of these bays.

In addition to its natural beauties, Gulf of Gökova is also known as the region where many historical ruins are located as it has been home to civilizations throughout history. The most well-known historical ruin is the city of Keramos, located in Milas.

Gulf of Gökova is also one of the best Kiteboarding and Kitesurfing areas in the world. The popular resort town of Akyaka on the shores of the Gulf of Gökova and the Azmak River with its untouched natural cycle are worth a visit.
